A UX generalist and HCI student using design to build products that improve quality of life for users while balancing business needs.

My Background

Growing up in Silicon Valley, I saw technological innovation defined by speed and scale, often overlooking those who might be excluded. Helping my grandparents search for the nearest Hindu Temple or text a friend on WhatsApp defined my design approach: every user interacts with technology differently, and it is our responsibility as designers to meet them where they are.

I completed my undergrad at Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo (go mustangs! 🐎), studying Graphic Communication, an interdisciplinary program combining design, technology, and business. My UX/UI concentration taught me user-centered design and front-end development, while my minor in Packaging deepened my interest in accessibility, examining how hand strength, dexterity, and visual impairments affect users' interactions with physical products.

I applied these skills through Cal Poly's "Learn by Doing" approach and other involvements: leading teams at Cal Poly iter8, a student-led product design agency, and working with local startups/businesses.

What I'm Currently Exploring.

At the University of Michigan, I'm exploring how AI can make everyday lives easier, deepening my understanding of computational thinking and vibe coding while also strengthening my ability to design for marginalized populations.

I'm looking for a Summer 2027 internship where I can bring this lens to a team building and designing products that matter.
